A Natural Solution For Many Conditions

Stem Cell Therapy is exciting because it is a natural way to treat people who suffer from a range of conditions: tennis elbow, knee pain, shoulder pain, Achilles injuries, degenerative disc disease and sports or overuse injuries. This simple outpatient or in-office procedure eliminates the need for pain medications and invasive reconstructive surgery.

The experienced doctors at the BRAM Center use stem cells derived from a choice of three sources:

  1. From the patient’s Adipose or fat tissue (known as “love handles” or abdomen)
  2. From the patient’s bone marrow
  3. From healthy pregnant volunteers who provide umbilical cord blood or amniotic fluid under sterile lab conditions. These cells are not from embryonic tissues, eliminating controversial ethical issues for many doctors and patients.

What you can expect during this simple Stem Cell office procedure:

  • After the area of the body that requires treatment is sterilized, a local anesthetic is administered to numb the tissue
  • The physician carefully guides a needle into the affected area and may utilize ultrasound to place it correctly
  • With the needle in position, the cord-derived stem cells are injected directly into the affected  area

Patients are able to go home the same day. Discomfort should be minimal, with some localized pain around the injection site – just as from any other needle. Patients can return to their pre-procedure activity rapidly. Results from stem cell treatment vary from patient to patient. Some patients require multiple treatments.

At the present time, Stem Cell Therapy is not covered by medical insurance.
